Japan is right to hold its ground while calling for calm in this war of words over Taiwan
China’s Return to Wolf Warrior Rhetoric Is a Mistake
Don’t listen to the China doves claiming the era of Beijing’s wolf warrior diplomacy is over. All it took was a comment on Taiwan from Japan’s new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to resurrect it.

Wild that threats and actions by PRC have no effect on tensions, but words from Japan PM in response DO "stir tensions". Why is it always the victims who "provoke"?

Russia is using Chinese, Japanese, and Taiwanese machine tools to manufacture guided bombs and missile parts. OSINT investigators identified Okuma (Japan) and Hision (China) equipment on Russian bomb assembly lines, and Taiwanese AKIRA SEIKI and ECOM machines for missile systems like Iskander.

How's that Golden Age going?
Fox guest on how to save money during the holidays:

"Remember, adults don't need gifts. Focus on the people in your life who are aged 3 to 18. Grandma doesn't need slippers. If they don't live by you, don't get them a gift."

Once again, those ceaseless, uncaused tensions mysteriously arise.

If the PRC did threaten to make war on Taiwan and Japan, there would be no tensions.

i'd say it did. the public put a group of thieves, vandals and extremists in office last november and they promptly went about destroying everything that might work to limit their ability to loot, steal and inflicting pain on the people they hate
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

This one was amusing - back when I was active on The Bad Place I clashed with Roman Helmet Guy & his poor (and fashy) grasp of Roman history repeatedly.

And Senpai finally Notices Him only the say he isn't fashy enough. Hilarious.

It's important to note, as I have multiple times, that it's possible to be Jewish - as I am - and still condemn Israel for genocidal acts. In fact, the history of Judaism makes it clear Jews are obligated to speak out. Never again *means* never again. #zachor
Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

Germany should stop making decisions based on its auto industry. They keep ignoring obvious risks, which is dragging the country down. Instead of investing domestically, they’re pouring more FDI into China, where they’re losing the price war.

Rabbi here.

The West Bank is absolutely occupied, in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, reaffirmed from the Fourth Hague Convention of 1907, Article 42.

It would be helpful if people who didn't know what they were talking about didn't open their uninformed mouths.
Genuinely curious as to why Wu and others who argue along these lines are surprised that pro-Israel politics are on the back-foot in the United States.

Some good news this morning - exports of Xinjiang tomatoes have collapsed. Last year I worked with the BBC to expose how XJ tomatoes produced with forced labour were making their way to UK supermarkets via Italy. 🧵
The western Chinese region of Xinjiang dramatically increased tomato cultivation and processing in recent years, but slumping sales to Italy and other western European markets have left it sitting on a vast stockpile of unsold paste. on.ft.com/4i5bFtZ
