When body cams first became widespread there was a huge spike in cops getting caught planting drugs. Because they didn’t realize that activating their cams would save recordings starting 30 seconds before they hit the button. Once they caught on, they stopped getting caught.

So, it appears that FAA made the right call (in frustration to force the issue?) on issuing a NOTAM because CBP was cowboying around with an anti-drone laser "on loan" from the DoD and nobody was coming clean in a timely manner about safety and fire control after they fired on some mylar balloons.

One of the problems with Democrats is that since Clinton rather a lot of Democratic voters (and pundits) seem convinced that the point of a primary isn't to unite the coalition, but to choose the candidate who performatively shits on radicals in order to portray themselves as serious enough to lead.
Ideally, the point of a primary is to find a candidate who unites the coalition. If a significant and coherent enough part of the coalition is already saying "fuck that guy forever" that's, uh, a bad sign. No, we probably won't find someone everyone loves. But maybe someone nobody outright hates.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
