The NSW Police could have stopped it. They didn't want to. Someone should ask them why.
It's no accident that Nazis rallied in Sydney. Police waved them through — and now Minns wants to punish us all
The existing law in NSW is more than adequate to have avoided the images of Nazis outside state parliament over the weekend.

Don Farrell asked why after all this time, the #NACC still hasn’t made any major findings of corruption.
“That’s an indication that the system is working. There is no corruption, & I say that's a good thing!”

Appalling response. It doesn’t even make sense. Makes my blood boil.

There were ample laws to prevent this or shut it down. The NSW Police just didn’t want to.

Shoebridge ? What happened to him 😢?
Never thought he would steep so low to spread a rumour that Australia sold the drone to Israel that killed an Australian aid worker in Gaza.

But then he blocked money for homes for women escaping DV, veterans and repairs to homes in Indigenous communities.

Oh come on the man has just died after a long battle with a nasty cancer . He has a family who is grieving and no doubt watched him suffer.

I was no fan of him in later yrs .
But when did we get so unkind in this country to stick the boots into grieving loved ones

He was a powerbroker and a numbers man who helped get Hawke and Keating be PM

In later yrs his actions were questionable . Is today the day to bag him ? I just always feel for loved ones

A coup on the steps of parliament
It is not true that Australia has never experienced a revolution. Fifty years ago, the nation saw a bloodless coup where the underpinning conventions of our parliamentary democracy were overthrown. The outrage of the Dismissal established dangerous precedents, and in the intervening years we have failed to put in place safeguards that would prevent it happening again.

It was a false-invoicing scam, and it was devised KNOWING that vulnerable people couldn't fight it.
It was essentially fraud, and it resulted in deaths. The people responsible need to face meaningful consequences.
Robodebt was a mass deception based on a cruel bet: that people on income support would simply give up and pay debts they didn't owe.

Today I tabled a petition from Kath Madgwick and Jenny Miller calling for those responsible to finally be held accountable.
