We're probably going to require a Pentagon Papers type of leak - the current POTUS is not above destroying evidence but he has also made a lot of civil servants (potential leakers) very angry.
Trump doesn’t have to call on House Republican to vote to release the file.

Trump can order Bondi and Patel to release the files. Tomorrow.

The question is, has he already ordered Bondi and Patel to destroy some of the files after they went through them months ago.
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."

Besides Trump's role we do need to understand what exactly (if anything) the DOJ was doing prior. The system right now appears in need of a complete overhaul.
(this could have been rigorously investigated in 21-22, or by Garland's DoJ, at any time. the emails were just sitting there)

This reminded me as an undergrad reading (translated) Marx in my History of Econ Thought class...for my 19 year old self, it was pretty rough going.
A Note: Reitter Translates Marx as He Was
Translation is intellectual engineering: accuracy and consistency are key: choose fidelity. Reading Marx without apocalyptic filters imposed because who he was does not suit present-day purposes…

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

Holy shit. They're really doing it. They're doing "actually pedophilia is good now." The debasement of the American Right is complete.

This is true.
Give a man a fish and someone with a thousand fishes is going to bitch about people getting free handouts. Teach a man to fish? Yeah, that person with a thousand fishes is going to bitch about that too.

Age of consent in NYS is 17, in Florida 18 so no, not barely legal here (especially for a guy in his 50's)
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

Trump, first and foremost, is a creation of the NYC legacy media.
The question everyone is asking right now is this: NYT had deep access into all of this in real time and reported none of it. Why? In consequence, no NYT reporting on this subject is trustworthy.

I'd add that Trump/DOGE made a lot of these civil servants very angry as well.
Been sayin'. "They'll vote yes to get out ahead of what's coming." (David Shuster last week). Over 1000 FBI and DOJ analysts had their eyes on the unsecure files during the review this past March. That's a lot of potential leaks. www.politico.com/live-updates...

C'mon, this is the franchise that gave us Moonraker. Tell the story and don't worry about it.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
