finally checked out Immortals: Fenyx Rising. it’s like if someone with a traumatic head injury tried to recreate Breath of the Wild from memory. the game world is so cramped, like if you condensed BotW’s map to just the landmarks without the open spaces in between, the spaces that make it feel alive

by far the biggest tragedy I read about this week. look what they did to Lynch’s house!
someone bought david lynch's home and renovated it

probably not the first person to draw this conclusion, but there’s no way Trump was merely a client of the Epstein operation, right? his past ownership of Miss Teen USA makes me wonder if he was funneling victims into the operation

not a conspiracy guy but I’d believe almost anything at this point

“broken windows theory” but for the rich. I’m into it
ok I decided to actually read up a bit on the Epstein case and my initial takeaway is that a great way to protect women and children from sexual predation would be to prosecute white collar crime

what’s with the photo they attached to this article? like should this woman not expect to find a partner in real life because she has a skin condition? what are they implying

I read the whole article just to be sure she’s not an actual proponent of AI dating who’s quoted in it. she’s not

A lot of people are paralyzed with fear at the notion that the GOP will simply never allow another election, but why would they bother with all that when Libs seem perfectly content electing someone with a GOP platform as long as the grinning worm has a D next to their name?

when something I want is too expensive, I will often buy a cheaper alternative, inevitably be disappointed with it, buy a different cheap alternative, be disappointed again, etc, until I’ve spent more than it would’ve cost to buy the good-but-expensive thing I originally wanted

If Newsom is the democratic candidate for president in 2028, I will not be voting for him. If that bothers you, you have three years to find someone who doesn’t suck to run instead
1. And it should surprise nobody... Gavin Newsom's anti-trans sports stance and other anti-trans stances he took in his interview with Charlie Kirk were cited by California Republicans during their sports ban hearing.

The latest from S. Baum.

California Republicans Cite Gavin Newsom In Trans Athlete Ban Hearing
Newsom has denounced what he calls the GOP’s “weaponization” of trans issues, but this evidently hasn’t stopped him from using it as a tool himself.

given this, I really don’t think “reversing the orders of a mentally incompetent president if they were robo-signed” is a door this administration wants to open
you genuinely have to admire his brain. getting hammered 24/7 on Epstein? better fabricate a personal link to the Unabomber, specifically mentioning one of the prestigious universities where Epstein peddled his influence

at this point if they did release a client list, and Trump’s name is not on it, who would believe it’s real?

we currently have a government that’s so evil you can’t even publicly discuss the appropriate level of resistance without crossing the line into fedposting

one of the funniest moments online was after Jerry Sandusky was convicted, looking at the Twitter feed of Baltimore sportscaster Gerry (with a G) Sandusky

every other tweet was him explaining to a very angry person that he’s a different guy, unrelated to the convicted child sex offender

when an unvaccinated child dies of a vaccine-preventable illness, the child’s guardians should go to prison

it’s a form of neglect, no different than allowing a child to starve to death, and should be treated as such
The United States has recorded its highest annual measles cases in 33 years. The milestone marks a public health reversal in defeating a highly contagious, vaccine-preventable disease as the anti-vaccine movement gains strength.
U.S. measles cases reach 33-year record high as outbreaks spread
Johns Hopkins University data reflects the public health reversal in defeating the vaccine-preventable disease since measles was officially eliminated from the U.S. in 2000.
