Wife, mum, artist, poetry, scientist, Christian, Chronic illness (M.E), sufferer. Passionate about climate, beauty, justice, love and acceptance. Easily brain fogged! I'm not an expert, I just want to make a positive difference whenever, and wherever I can
There's so much going on, but if we don't protect nature and climate, it's gonna get so much worse. Vote no on the #Mercursor deal Europe!

You might want to think about such issues as the Amazon rainforedt tipping point, before you vote yes on #Mercosur @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu @lulaoficialbluesky.bsky.social @europeangreens.eu

Devastating climate risk report, suppressed by government, while everyday reporting of extreme storm damage to a rail line making it unsafe to use (and expensive to fix) fails to even mention climate breakdown.

Funny that this is a BBC article when they are propping at climate-denying Farage at the same time!
Climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of heavy rainfalls, with the greatest impacts falling on the most fragile communities.

Interesting contrast in coverage: a misleading, vested-interest report suggesting heat pumps raise UK bills made headlines.

Our peer-reviewed UK research showing high real-world efficiency across hundreds of homes was largely ignored by the media.

Sounds an awful lot like what Farage is doing in the UK. We need better. Good to see the rise of the Greens here. @zackpolanski.bsky.social
For years, Trump has spun immigrants, reporters, and anyone he dislikes as the "enemy." This created dehumanizing and legitimizing ideology on which he and his administration are now arresting, brutalizing, and killing his invented "enemy."

Terrorism, crime and cruelty have been the plan all along.

Farage warned just now against “a worrying extreme left wing voice in this country."

Hmmm.

This from a climate denying, Trump loving, NHS selling corporate stooge who’s been a genuine threat to Britain for decades.

If the UK vote Reform, we will get the USA treatment.
What the US trump regime doesn't understand that no other country/jurisdiction wants to be part of the US. Look at what is being done to their own people. Armed thugs kidnapping or killing people in the streets. We don't even want to visit. And don't get me started on Healthcare and social justice.

Moving away from USA dependency is good @mark-carney.bsky.social but locking in further use of fossil fuels through a pipeline?! Bad! Carbon capture is unproven and unreliable. It's an excuse to keep extracting and sidelines real solutions! Plus China is using more renewable energy than ever!

Some mention of it by our prime minister would be nice. Ashamed of my country sometimes.

Unhook ourselves from oil and gas and we unhook ourselves from dependency on dictators, autocrats and expansionist regimes all over the planet.
Renewables and other low-carbon energy sources are not just good climate sense. They are also good political sense.

Outrageous.

Ministers should be listening to scientists, frontline communities and those working towards a green transition – not hosting the interests of oil giants in their own offices.

Keir Starmer should condemn Trump’s illegal action in Venezuela.

Maduro is a brutal and illegitimate dictator, but unlawful attacks like this make us all less safe.

Trump is giving a green light to the likes of Putin and Xi to attack other countries with impunity.

Reading about today's UK #CovidInquiry report and it's bringing out of me a range of emotions.

In particular ANGER that Covid and #LongCovid are still being past-tensed.

I feel abandoned in my new-found disability.

Shame on all who have deliberately undermined this pandemic, vaccination and more.

Vaccines are safe. Vaccines save lives.

Autism is caused by genetics + environmental triggers.

Extensive studies with millions of kids showed no connection between vaccines and autism.

Doctors vaccinate our kids because we love them and want them to live to be healthy adults.
