The priorities of the Trump regime…
It’s amazing how fast they can build a concentration camp: “Alligator Alcatraz”— but they can’t manage to fix a levee, fund a hospital, or get clean water to poor communities.

Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We’re screwed.

Nails it. “This should have been obvious to anyone who had dealt with a schoolyard bully. If you give him your lunch money the first time, guess what? He will now be waiting for you every day. The only way to break the cycle is to refuse to cooperate; the sooner the better.”
Loving the reposts and likes! Not to nag, but I really do think you'd get even more out of reading this.

I really dig past the "attaboys" and into how this is not about courage, but rationality. Fighting back is smarter than lying down.
Harvard figured out what everyone else in power needs to understand: Complicity with Trump will not save you.

Standing up isn't just the right thing to do. It's the smart thing to do. He will renege on any "deal" you make and come after you anyway.

Trump can call me names but the truth remains. He is an unhinged wanna be dictator who is angry that I beat him in court and won't cower in fear. Now he is weaponizing the federal government against his political opponents.

I will not back down.
I will not bow or scrape.
I will never obey.

I hadn't seen this yesterday, Elon Musk saying two lawyers were "undermining civilization" which "seems like a generational trauma transfer issue."

What a strange insult. Does he know their parents or something?

Ah, I see: they're both Jewish.

It's Musk being a Nazi. Again.
Elon Musk recently posted on his site that another lawyer and I are “undermining civilization.” He goes on to ask if we suffered childhood trauma and concludes by suggesting we are suffering from “generational trauma.” This is my response. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/my-o...

There is no line the Republican Party is not willing to cross with and for Donald Trump.

They have now reached a point where even Mitch McConnell, whose place in history as one of democracy’s worst gravediggers is secure, refuses to go.

A reminder of how far things have already escalated.
52-48, Senate votes to confirm RFK Jr. as the next Health and Human Services secretary.

All Republicans voted YES except one: Mitch McConnell, who joined all Democrats in voting NO.
