REALLY enjoyed this book (and enjoyed that Bookshop got it to me before the release date so that I could read most of it as the season started, which was the goal)
Forward Progress came out, and I almost immediately stopped talking about it as much because of that whole working-70-hours-a-week thing, lol. But I've got a moment, the fun ACC game is nearing half, and I wanted to talk about some of the book's meaningful themes and takeaways.

In addition to this plan being horrifying, obviously illegal, and impeachment-worthy, it’s absolutely pathetic how these bootlickers fantasize that a certifiably insane 280-pound tub of rancid mayonnaise who has been tapping at death’s door lately is somehow this buff, steely action hero.
The president of the United States just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city, and one governed by his political opponents.

In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy.

Great stuff. Here’s how I spend many of my weekends. You gain a new appreciation for baseball when you have to remember the quirky rules of 1858 or 1864 or 1886 … while you’re running from first to third.
