Once again I ask activists and allies to watch this documentary. It's on Netflix in the US, find it where you can. It is so well done and shows you what we're fighting for.

As someone who is a descriptivist to the degree language gets less clear and interesting and a prescriptivist deep inside when it comes to clarity and precision, I really am frustrated that it's hard for me to differentiate between everyday and every day with speech to text.

Wait just a danged minute...

I didn't get the memo that we're getting rid of peoples' dogs now.

I thought it was just Republicans doing that - like Kristi Noem taking poor Cricket to the gravel pit and blowing him away.
Rep. Randy Fine: "People should know Democrats like AOC are saying 'we are going to get rid of your dogs.' Americans need to keep that in mind when they go and vote in November."

America needs to watch this in it’s entirety. Colbert’s witty, informative takedown of the FCC, Brendan Carr, and CBS is nothing short of courageous.Go to his You Tube page. Support Colbert’s support of the First Amendment. He and Kimmel are heroes for our age.

There is no limit to Trump's efforts to monetize his political power.

The latest gambit? Filing for trademarks for Trump branded airports from a federal trademark office, as he pressures political leaders to rename Dulles and the Palm Beach airport after him.

Trump’s IP company filed trademark applications for airport names bearing his name, raising unprecedented questions about private brand control over public airports.

Elon Musk was babbling about how nobody ever died for their multi-cultural economic zone--but that's exactly what Thomas Paine proposed in Common Sense, and a lot of people took him up on that.

Rereading Common Sense. I had forgotten that one of Paine's arguments for independence was the diversity of the colonists. Why should Americans be British subjects when most of them weren't even English?

The Trump administration withdrew a rule to make sure the products YOU use every day—like makeup and skincare—are tested for cancer-causing asbestos. Is this Making America Healthy Again??

There are so many good signs that we don’t talk about enough and the neighborhood organizing in MN and the efforts against ICE abuse and the organic community care for immigrants and people at risk and the volunteer observers

Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Hear me when I say this -- they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total and humiliating submission."
