Once again I ask activists and allies to watch this documentary. It's on Netflix in the US, find it where you can. It is so well done and shows you what we're fighting for.

I'm beginning to understand that there is a decent cohort of us that embrace change, embrace basic grade school scientific understanding of the planet, and are focused on mitigating our impacts as much as possible, and the inconvenience that brings, for the sake of everyone's kiddos...
With that adjustment factor in place, we can see our gas use has decreased with time. The orange dots represent the total gas use from the meter, while the blue dots represent the gas consumed by the backup furnace. Once we remove the gas water heater, the two curves converge within error. 🧪🔌💡☀️💨💧🔋

The ouster of the spokesperson Dave Butler, a colonel, shows that the defense secretary’s culling is far from over.

I really get tired of static weather, long summers with the same feeling day after day. And I know that we really need rain in the winter in this part of the world.
But I have become one of the people whose autoimmune disease seems to react to pressure change and this does not feel good.

“There were children in Dilley who were so distraught they cut themselves or talked about suicide, several mothers told me. Recently, two cases of measles were discovered in the center.“

I think we could fix this a little bit but it would be much less lucrative for the companies that are profiting from social media.

Today, after @propublica.org published this story, the camp was raided to confiscate letters from the children.

As someone who is a descriptivist to the degree language gets less clear and interesting and a prescriptivist deep inside when it comes to clarity and precision, I really am frustrated that it's hard for me to differentiate between everyday and every day with speech to text.

I didn't get the memo that we're getting rid of peoples' dogs now.

I thought it was just Republicans doing that - like Kristi Noem taking poor Cricket to the gravel pit and blowing him away.
Rep. Randy Fine: "People should know Democrats like AOC are saying 'we are going to get rid of your dogs.' Americans need to keep that in mind when they go and vote in November."
