It was just Firefox, not Chrome. I just tried again and it is still there though the first time it actually said something about recaptcha I think. Essentially the blue symbol pops up and then it won't take my vote at all, I can't click on anything at all.

I'm going to need to pick up some of the fallen fruit because some of us have developed a penchant for rolling in it.

@weatherwest.bsky.social has mentioned in his live streams that of all the severe weather we see, severe flooding and extreme heat are the two most closely tied to climate change.

Augh! This is my dog right this minute, damp from the wading pool and resting in the shade between bouts of fetch. I can't even deal with her cuteness.

I don't exactly hate my life, even if my 40 lb dog likes to lie right down my body in the morning, on my chest, on my torso, staring into my face. She knows we don't go out to play fetch until I'm done with my coffee. She will wait here patiently.

If I take my rollator outside I can sit on it because it's high enough that I can get up without help, unlike the chairs, so today I went out and sat in my rollator and played with the dog for a while. When she was done, I came inside and drank a tall glass of cool electrolyte goodness.

AI when I was a kid

It's possible that between the device that you're using and not sure what else, alt text doesn't work the same.
I just posted some rather lousy alt text with these, but this is what they look like to me before I post, then when I post it appears with the little alt button at the bottom right.
This is what I see when I initially post a picture. My image is on top with ALT in the top left corner, and where the words "say alt text describes images for blind and low vision users and helps give context to everyone," I type the words. This is a screenshot showing the alt text I have typed in below to the bathing suit image I posted up thread, below that image.

Frisbee is exhausting but she loves it.
