Trump in a single gaggle on Air Force One just threatened:

-- a second strike against Venezuela
-- Cuba
-- Mexico
-- Colombia
-- Iran
-- Greenland (which in turn would be an attack on the EU and Denmark)

In a study following 23 million people age 18-59 (pretty young) for 4 years…despite the fact that the ones who got the COVID vaccine were overall older and sicker at baseline, they not only had 74% lower risk of dying from COVID than the unvaccinated but 25% lower risk of dying from any other cause!

Department of Homeland Security is proposing a new rule that would authorize collection of any form of biometric information or samples from anyone, including US citizens, “encountered” by USCIS or “associated with” any applicant for admission to the US, US residency, or US citizenship.
Collection of biometrics from anyone “associated” with a foreigner – Papers, Please!
Underlying the proposal is an implicit but impermissible assumption that merely to “associate” with foreigners is sufficiently suspicious to create probable cause for a search.

Put a pin in this, I'm still trying to confirm 100% but it sounds like the assault force consisted of C Sqd and 3/75. OPE was indeed conducted under the AUMF. Total control of VZ comms. Recent defections helped the CIA greatly. Maduro recorded constantly to refute any future torture allegations.

I’m not condoning this, and I hate to be *that guy*, but multiple empirical, experimental and analytical studies show that manipulation in betting markets improves accuracy. (You can kinda see why with this example.)

I mean it’s neither fair nor ethical, but predictions are more accurate.

🤡Trump said that Rodríguez was sworn in as Venezuela’s interim president and would act as a partner in letting the US run the country. Less than two hours later, Rodríguez — Maduro’s veep — delivered address to Venezuela that made clear she viewed the US as an illegal invader that must be rejected.

Q: Will you ask Congress for approval? Do you believe legally you need to ask Congress for approval?
A: Of course, we will keep Congress involved.

Notable for a couple of reasons:

- no fentanyl charges, though fentanyl trafficking was repeatedly stated as the justification for the boat killings

- the charges are substantially similar to those against Juan Orlando Hernández, former president of Honduras, whom Trump recently pardoned

You and I are horrified by this but it's important to remember that this is what pete hegseth actually wants, he would be disappointed if there were no innocent civilians killed, because that would be woke
NYT:

At least 40 people were killed in the US attack on Venezuela, including military personnel and civilians.
