They said on NPR today that Trump supports releasing "all the Epstein files that are unclassified" so I'm guessing there are two things that happen: either the DOJ says they can't release the files because of an ongoing investigation, or they've classified everything about Trump.

It's a weird pattern I've seen in the US both in politics, in private and in the workspace: often the magnitude and severity of a response is measured by how much money is thrown at a problem, not by the outcomes. I have no idea where that comes from, but it's not as common elsewhere.

With news of a bird flu case of unknown origin in Washington State, I can't help but think that we could have spent the past five years improving ventilation and making indoor spaces safer and we haven't.

It's disturbing enough that a lot of people believe chatbots because they sound so rational and logical and authoritative even if they're completely full of shit or just placating you. Making people think they're getting advice from Jesus added to the mix? Seems like the worst possible idea.

I am again really shocked that the Epstein stuff released so far is theoretically mostly not meant to actually damage Trump and is probably supposed to make him look good and it looks BAD.
