Almost 20 years after @davidgaider.bsky.social bought a hand mixer because he needed to make batch of cookies (and then never used it again), I have finally made so many gingersnaps that the tines on the beater snapped and I had to buy a new hand mixer.

I opened Spotify today and under suggested Thursday mixes was one labelled “Oldies Mix - oldies music picked just for you.” So I opened it to see what it offered. It is almost entirely 80s music. I was not prepared for the emotional trauma.

My roommate's niece came over last night and gave us both haircuts; she took probably 6 inches of split off and my hair is suddenly somehow so glamorous now, y'all, this is with zero styling (a vast change from my previous 'crazy wife in the attic' hairdo)
