I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

I'm going to post a photo every day that makes me feel happy or content, because the last few months haven't had enough happiness or contentment. Here's the first, from last night at the lake.

I realize I'm talking into the void with so few followers, but I'm going to try and post some writing-related content, just to make me feel like a writer when I doubt myself. Of course, I may change my mind tomorrow and go back to lurking, and no one would know the difference. #writingcommmunity

I haven't posted in four months, not that anyone would notice, but grieving is hard. I miss my best sister ever, every day.

I'm depressed at how many people, including people I know and love and admire...cheerfully use AI to do their thinking. To write the silly email that would take 30 seconds. To write the outline.

To do the thinking.

I get life sucks right now.

But damn, there's FREEDOM in thinking.

Canada is a country worth fighting for against anyone who’d roll up and sock us in the kisser, goddamn them.

I will still stand up for my country and our right to decide for ourselves how we want to live.

I'd throw a punch to fight for Canada's sovereignty while reserving and exercising my right to criticize this country. That's a fine form of patriotism.

I'm not young. I'm not terribly fit. I've never shot a gun and have no desire to. But if it came down to it, I would fight to keep Canada's independence, no question.
