I discovered a few days ago that both of my luggage Airtags stopped working almost simultaneously months ago, both while I was actually on a ferry in a small Alaskan town, so that’s where my phone assumes my backpack and suitcase are.

Guys. This is important. Critical thinking and creativity is important.
The kids actually made animals that don't exist. The AI just put a bunch of stuff that already exists together into a polished slop blender. You can't get a better illustration of why AI can't create anything new while human creativity is bottomless.

I went hiking earlier and couldn’t help but take home some new rock friends. But on the way back I found some infrastructure orphans (on the property where I live!), so hiked out again to do another adopt ⚡️

Ooooh ooh ooh ooh. They adapted one of my favorite books into a graphic novel. The original The Hidden Life of Trees by @peter-wohlleben.bsky.social is a beautiful read, and this looks like a worthy visual adaptation. Ordering my copy today. 💚🌲💚
