I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't think we're in a democracy anymore. Unmarked secret police kidnapping people off the street? A dictator mobilizing the military against civilians? Defying court orders? Ignoring due process? Arresting political opponents? Democracy has left the building. We CAN & MUST get it back, though.
We are facing a serious threat to democracy, law, and liberty. The abuse of prosecutorial power to intimidate, investigate, and detain political opponents is upon us. It is a constitutional crisis. I will keep speaking out until public outrage overflows. I just hope it’s not too little, too late.
