I haven’t been much of a video game player since like 2009 or so, but a new 2-D Castlevania game could change that. Played them all up through Symphony of the Night and then dropped off except for one for the Wii that I got like halfway through. Don’t love open world games — put me on some rails!

If youre able to make a mark or a noise or a movement its pretty gd accessible tbh and the practice itself is worthwhile. Feeling locked out because you can’t draw or write like your favourites can is kind of missing the entire point.

Kind of wish more folk would frame art and creativity as being a bit like running in their heads or something.
Is everyone naturally brilliant at it? No. If you work at it will you improve? Yes you probably will! If you don’t get good is it still worthwhile? Yeah! Can an LLM do it for you? Nope.

I can’t think of a single famous person from my high school, which is good because they were a bunch of factory reject douches. A minor write-up here, a member of a touring company 20 years ago there, but no one anyone’s actually heard of, so I guess the system works
