Friends have asked me for my thoughts about After the Hunt. Here they are. As others have observed, it is very dumb about tenure and academic life. (Why can’t people get the awfulness of this profession right!!?) It’s also horrendous on harassment.

I know we have a LOT going on but I remain just stymied by how little controversy there has been about athletic federations sex testing women athletes. It's so fucking wrong and I feel crazy for living in a society where women athletes aren't fighting back. That's my thought for the day.
