Greg is exactly right (as usual). It's what the regime is telling people -- if you publicly oppose us, we have the right to execute you. And claiming victimhood is a centerpiece of right wing thought
The bottomlessly vile Greg Bovino said on CNN that the agents were the "real victims." What they're really telling us by claiming in advance that the agents' conduct was justified is that anyone who sides with immigrants and/or documents ICE atrocities also risks the penalty of death.
They are telling us in unequivocal terms that if you show solidarity with immigrants who are in the literal crosshairs of Trump/MAGA, you're risking a death sentence.

Not a single person I know wants to buy a car from a company headed by a guy who makes enthusiastic Nazi salutes on TV, and most of the Tesla owners I know have enormous buyer's remorse. The idea that the Board will give him a trillion dollars for ruining the brand is just nuts.

Bobby has multiple skills. Here, he demonstrates sucking up and lying, to go with his driving American health policy in a deadly direction.

With this regime's foreign policy, it's always a good bet to follow the $.

This kind of thing reminds me of the joke in "Don't Look Up" that America won't blow up the asteroid about to hit the Earth because a billionaire wants to mind the asteroid for minerals used in cell phones
Why is the governor of Louisiana volunteering to help Trump get Greenland's resources? (Hint: $.)

@schuylermitchell.bsky.social reports on the US companies, with connections to Republican politicians, who see big money to be gained from MAGA imperialism.
Here’s who could profit from Trump’s pursuit of Greenland

Another illustration of our current patrimonial style of government, where all policies and actions are to serve the impulses, whims, desires and resentments of one single (1) man. Rules, laws, institutions must all bend to his feelings

Normally, belts of high winds holds the cold in the arctic. As climate change disrupts normal patterns, sometimes arctic air leaks out to slam areas further South, typically while the arctic has far higher temperatures than normal.

Trump's trolling here is just ignorant
Extra cold weather events can occur due to disruptions in the polar vortex, which can be influenced by climate change. While global warming generally leads to milder winters, these cold snaps can happen as the jet stream shifts, allowing Arctic air to move southward
It's not that hard to understand

When Vance is happy to directly lie about what happened in an incident where we can all look at multiple video tapes, and say that events were the opposite of what they actually were, it's going to be easy for him to deny what he said a week ago.

He's a post-truth figure.
Do more fact checks like this, please. ⚖️👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 #immunity
Vance on Jan. 8: "You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That's a federal issue. That guy's protected by absolute immunity."

Vance today: "I didn't say that officers who engaged in wrongdoing would enjoy immunity. That's absurd."

How did they snub Billy Crudup for Best Supporting Actor? He was amazing in Jay Kelly.

And Sentimental Value was the best picture I saw all year, but how is Stellan Skaarsgard a best supporting nominee? He has about 1000 lines and is onscreen most of the movie.

Let's review the facts at hand here: A Democratic administration discovered and prosecuted a case of welfare fraud. Republicans are now using this case to smear hundreds of thousands of immigrants and militarize an entire city.

And your conclusion is that Democrats need to do something different?

I often see people say "Trump's odd behaviors aren't a real problem, because grown ups like Bessent will keep them from doing crazy things." But NO ONE who works for the guy thought it was a good idea to link his desire to invade Greenland to his losing the Nobel Prize. The Mad King is unfettered

It's *not* about immigration.

How much more in your face can it be?

Democrats have paid a HUGE price, and America has paid a huge price, to accommodate the egos and desires for legacy of older leaders who couldn't meet the moment.

It really has to end now. The Senate Democrats need a better stronger leader who can rise to our challenges.

There you have it; the Trump admin allows ICE lawyer James Rodden to stay on the job. His personal social media account praised Hitler, supported white nationalism, and said that America started going downhill the day that Lincoln was elected.
BREAKING: James Rodden, an ICE prosecutor who the Observer identified last year as the operator of an X account that posted “America is a White nation," “‘Migrants’ are all criminals,” and apparent praise of Adolf Hitler, appeared to be back at work Tuesday.
