During Joe Biden's presidency, a number of Congressional Rs purported to be "deficit hawks" who were very worried about the national debt. We'll see how many of them stand up to voice opposition to this. (Spoiler Alert: few if any)

Sometimes the conventional wisdom is actually right. When 49 out of 50 NBA people said "why would you trade a top five player for a top ten player who is substantially older and has a worse injury history," maybe they knew what they were talking about. Not every contrarian impulse is right.

I feel like much has been said about this already, but brace yourselves for more CEOs to try to hold boards & investors hostage with threats to walk away & not try to focus on the business unless they get exceedingly large pay plans & other incentives.

I can't understand the people who are convinced that this man cares about them. He cares about one person, total, in this entire world. This photo really captures his disinterest in someone suffering near him, he's trying to wish the victim away

I'm so sorry, what a tragedy. I've represented people in similar situations, and it's brutal.

Doesn't this show that all the people who work for him are afraid to tell him he's wrong? He's been saying this ludicrous thing for years, and keeps doing it, someone should tell him

What a weird thing to lie about. Millions of people will learn that they actually owe much larger premiums, and just declaring for TV cameras that it isn't happening is going to look clueless and dishonest (which it is)
