I just dug out all the toys my cat has knocked under my fridge. As soon as I gave them back to him he very deliberately grabbed one, walked over to the fridge, dropped it, and immediately knocked it back underneath.

Call me old and cynical, and you wouldn't be wrong, but I seriously doubt that anyone with power will ever be held to account, over any of this, because our system is designed to never let that happen.
