Radio transmissions reviewed by CNN show that the pilots of a private jet narrowly avoided a collision with a United States Air Force refueling tanker near Venezuela on Saturday – one day after a similar incident nearby.

We really don't talk enough about how fundamentally broken the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the entire "war on terror" made American brains. Every administration has pretty much said they can kill whoever they deem is a terrorist, and that whoever they say is a terrorist is one.
Batya might be just fine with a dudetrustme basis for a terrorist designation, but Americans with a functioning moral compass actually expect a plausible public rationale for who is to be treated as a terrorist in our name.
