it should go without saying but if you want users to voluntarily tag their art then you need to not threaten to ban them if they do. like, you can either have a well-regulated, easily-filtered art ecosystem or you can ban art you don’t like and see it come oozing back out of every crack and crevice

I can’t nail down two things enough:
1) treat it like a job, don’t overwork yourself if there’s people down the line who are doing the EXACT same thing.
2) this industry is based on TRUST. You trust that the person next to you, behind you and in front of you knows their job.

Animation is always hard, people on it always care, everyone is always talented - but hoo boy, clear direction, up front resources, properly picked battles and trust can really make a helluva difference in quality.

i'm against the new TOS because no matter how uncomfortable you are with certain subjects, it's very easy to see how bad-faith interpretations of art could be weaponized, especially against marginalized artists, who are more likely to be targeted for harassment
