In addition to no drag Pleakley, Gantu straight up isn't in the new movie. I'm choosing to believe it's because I keep sending this thirst trap of Gantu to industry people with the caption "tell me this guy isn't bagging half the communiverse"

I also designed a bunch of stickers for Kai! They were placed throughout her room and on her skateboard. The late-game censorship removed a lot of them (including the cracked eggs, which I'm shocked got flagged) BUT our girl Nimona made it to final 🦈💖

Silly string fx!! It was a bit of a technical challenge to get the sillystring physics feeling right while staying in the style of the show, I think it came out neat 😋

The initial pitch for this shot was to use Machiavelli from Luca, but I had just wrapped on Lightyear and had a soft spot for Sox, so I pitched a variant! I also pitched one for a cameow of my cat, but unfortunately her dark tortie fur doesn't pop from the background like Sox 😿

This was only a year ago today. While I'll always be grateful for the team never giving up on Nimona, my heart breaks the more it feels like this was lightning in a bottle. An exception. A one-off victory against a media monopoly with no interest in using their platform to save the lives of children

Thinking about important trans media that people should know about and preserve. 'To Survive on This Shore' is a collection of photographs and interviews with transgender and gender non-conforming older adults, and I reccomend everyone (especially trans youth) check it out. We have a future.
