Listened to Hakeem Jeffries and Mike Johnson speak back to back on house floor a few minutes ago. It’s sad that we have since a pitiful human being as the speaker of the house but Hakeem didn’t have to make a lot of noise to be heard. His message was clear.

Karoline Leavitt does almost daily press briefings. There should be equal and opposite briefings from Democrat spokespeople to counter her lies. God knows there would be plenty of material to counter.

Bullies gain power when their misconduct succeeds in causing righteous people to yield in the face of wrongdoing. That’s why voting for Trump's continuing resolution - without any protection against his health care cuts or his growing illegality - is a mistake.

I voted NO.

You may not agree, but I think it’s time for Dems from coast to coast to run on Medicare for all.

We do NOT need health insurance companies at all.

Period.

They serve no valuable societal purpose other than to add cost to healthcare and drive people crazy.

Historical and political movements are often defined by their rallying cries and protest songs.
Okay, so I did it. In honor of Sandwich Guy, on what should be the last day of his trial, I figured out the chords. And so, with apologies to the late and great Bob Marley, I banged out this quick and (very) rough rendition of "I Threw the Sandwich." 🤣

Trump said he’d be “the jobs president.” Turns out he meant job cuts. Nearly a million Americans out of work, and he’s bragging about marble bathrooms and his gilded ballroom.
