Today I found out I’m going to be joining the ranks of HOW many amazing authors (??!) as part of @starsandsabers.bsky.social’s upcoming anthology OF DREAD, DECAY, AND DOOM (out October 2025).
It's that time of year again!
Looking back, I actually finished drafts of more than one piece. I have at least two story ideas I'm happy to go into the new year developing.

Ahhh this was such a good presentation that had me thinking of the Gothic, and in particular ghosts, in a completely different way!

I would probably continue what I do now and maybe invest more time in the free education programme I run rather than constantly worrying where the next freelance contract is coming from.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

to tht end, it's ESSENTIAL that we untangle sexuality & desire from objectification. things being framed as sexual, sensual, sexy, & desirable is not automatically "the male gaze." the male gaze refers to objectification above all else and the power fantasies of cishet men.
The thing is like if we want to fight back against prudery and sex negativity we also have to stop referring to stuff as 'gooner art' and accept that nsfw shit that reads as 'for the male gaze' has as much a right to exist as your favourite yaoi
