I want to have 2 control schemes. A 'modern' allowing the use of more input keys (because accessibility). I am excited for the 'Classic' control scheme which will be 4 directions, A, B, Start and Select.
This is testing using a double tap on the d-pad to roll.

This is basically the entire system for the dialogue.
Its really simple, but effective. The flow itself is controlled by whichever object is using this struct to display the dialogue.

I updated some of the item sprites. I think they are somehow leaning away from the gameboy style a little, but I like them anyway. Implementing all of the items over the next couple weeks.

Here is a very early capture for the fog that will cover some areas of the world. When the player equips the Spirit Lantern, the fog will move away from the player instead of trying to envelop them.
