Some context, my car lit up like a Christmas tree on the way to Fredericton for the presentations today. So I went to the event. And then replaced my alternator in @chrissccribs.bsky.social driveway. What a legend for letting me work there and use his tools.

I find it interesting how a super compelling story or design can come out of a silly meme. I am designing an entire zone and culture in my game around a misheard lyric.

This took a few iterations - and still needs some polish, but I think it looks cool.

I still want to replace the leaves with a different foreground objects since this is the entrance to the desert temple.

Just finished the first room outside of the Twilight Veil.

I have the first 25% of the game's critical pathing designed. With that I started working on the overworld for the game. There are a total of 320 rooms in the overworld alone.

I haven't posted here in a while, and a lot has happened.

I won best in show at Atlantic XP with my demo for veil of twilight in June.

2 games I worked on with the team at Iron Fox Games were released!

And this is me announcing that I am now working full time as a solo dev!
