You have to wonder how longer this script persists. Baring intra-religious breakdown within Israel itself, gotta be at least another 100 years of this crap.
Reading all these mealy-mouthed statements together, there are common themes: 'safety', 'sensitivity' and 'division'.

This is the Israel lobby's script;
hosing down anyone who dares criticize Israel's apartheid, genocide and ethnic cleansing, while pretending it's about Jews under attack. #auspol

Agreed that macos 26 has loads of issues (which may or may not get resolved) but quite liking that The Havers of Correct Opinions About Bloody Software are regularly losing their shit. Clearly their lives have no meaning!

Picked up a paper copy of the SMH in a cafe. Immediate and astonishing thing is the near absence of ads. So few, apart from several consolidated pages of Hardly Normal ads around the horse racing section (ffs). I know it's been harped on for years but how much longer does print linger on for?

Maybe the Shoppies have an insurance fund that covers officials and former officials for their inevitable libel penalties? Be a hell of a fund.

Just another line in fruitloop organisations trying to take over the Liberal Party when it is weak (happens every time). In this iteration, it’s mean, elderly, lunatics from AIJAC and the like.
Bridget McKenzie tells Sky News she understands the concerns of the Jewish community because she is a “Zionist”.

Is that a personal identity now, or just a political brand anyone can adopt? 🤔

I genuinely think most Americans including politically involved news junkies learned about authoritarianism from dystopian fiction rather than history or literature written by people from authoritarian societies and it shows.

Christ this is bad.
In Albo's new antisemitism bill, the definition of "hate crime", which underpins the new regime to proscribe "hate groups" like the Nazis, specifically excludes "advocating genocide". That is, advocating genocide is treated as not being a racist hate crime. Now, why would that be?

You don't have to participate in Media bullshit. My standard response:

Them: Hi, I'm <dipshit> from <dipshit media>
Me: That's unfortunate, my condolences
Them: What do you mean?
Me: That your poor life choices brought you to this moment.
Them: That's not very nice
Me: I can recommend a therapist.

I think it was @geogvma.bsky.social who pointed out that every single leftwing 9/11 truther of the 2010s, was a full on neo nazi by 2019.

I am willing to bet that every communist dabbling in antisemitism right now, will be a full on neo nazi by the end of this decade.

It wasnt the sex pest accusations, the union busting or even his political position that made the more wealthy members of the left stop buying this guy’s products or investing in his companies. Buying Twitter was.

slowly beginning to think that AI psychosis is far more broad than we think, in that there are people who it doesn't drive *crazy* who see, say, a coding model create a UI for something and immediately extrapolate that it will be The Future of All Stuff
