2025 was a disastrous year — economically, politically and morally. The consequences of that failure are only just beginning to arrive.

In this video, I ask a simple but uncomfortable question: who is going to pay the price in 2026?

Nigel Farage says the hunting ban is "monstrous", the only thing that's monstrous is defending a pastime that rips apart animals for fun.

No one has ever been able to adequately explain what Putin is meant to have thought NATO expansion would threaten him with, apart from limiting his expansionist ambitions.

"He was worried they'd invade Russia."

No he wasn't.

He just wasn't.

That's not a thing anyone thought might happen.
this is the simple answer to people who keep saying NATO expansion matters. Sure, it matters because it presented an obstacle to Russian imperial ambitions. Putin didn't invade because he hated NATO expansion, he hated NATO expansion because he wanted to invade

Despite a lot of sparkling winter sunshine it is a Christmas without thaw on nearby continent. The coldest since 2010.

The warming influence of English Channel/North Sea is keeping us from freezing temperatures.

In Berlin 🇩🇪 temperatures look unlikely to rise above -5C 🥶

The Express will keep doing this.

Churning out anger and division.

They don’t take a day off, even on Christmas Day.

But this Christmas I’m inviting you to choose something different:

Humanity. Kindness. Hope.

I think The Express needs to find their Xmas spirit.

We're paying £476m for a regime that tear gasses babies & destroys shelters in freezing conditions.

We should divert that money to a functioning and fair migration system.

Tune in to @boldpolitics.bsky.social at 3pm tomorrow.
