Simon Harris' response here is dire.

Talking about the use of X as "a balance, a tough one" for himself when asked about the safeguarding of children.

How the Dept of Ed hasn't stopped posting photos of children on X, even temporarily while they deal with it "in real time", is insane.

#IrishPol
Grok is being used to create sexualised images of women and child abuse material which are posted on X.

So, why is the Department of Education still posting images of children to X?

If Government Departments are going to continue to use X, can they at least stop posting images of children?

I cannot tell you how absolutely infuriatingly this stuff comes across to Europeans.

When we say America is no longer a reliable ally, it goes considerably deeper than Donald Trump himself. This kind of complacent, condescending shit is a *huge* part of it.

So far the "Board of Peace" is Trump, Orban, Lukaschenko and Netanyahu.

Which if you wrote in a satire would be considered too outlandish and sent back.

That'll be 40 torcs examined 'in the hand' by me, by the time I'm done.

I know no-one else has seen this many of the British ones, but it pays to take the time to do it if you're writing about these artefacts, I think.

It's good to torc 😊

I think this is complete capitulation. The post WW2 liberal order, for all its imperfections, has delivered peace and hugely reduced poverty. The rules based international order is something to fight for, not give up on because of a few mad men and their sycophants.
In a speech to the World Economic Forum, Mark Carney says middle powers such as Canada must accept that the rules-based international order is effectively dead, and great power rivalry with is here to stay. Key excerpt:
