What on earth has happened to the sizing on #Vinted??? You can now only search by bracket and those do not correlate at all to the stated UK sizes.

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Gold jar from Galloway Hoard on display in Kirkcudbright
It resembles a perfume bottle and a Latin inscription on it suggests it had a religious function.

Guðrøðr (Gothfrith), Norse king of Dublin, raided Armagh #OTD in 921. It was Martinmas Eve, and it would have been filled with people, food and drink. Guðrøðr was briefly king of York before Æthelstan, king of the Anglo-Saxons, drove him out in 927. #medievalsky

Honestly the weirdest thing about America is that you are actively encouraged to self-ID as "pro life" and "Christian" while actively advocating for state-mandated murder.
Is anyone else finding America particularly terrifying right now? Here we have a “pro-life” Christian man calling for Stevie Nicks to be executed and pastors are preaching that the 19th amendment that allows women the vote should be repealed.

It is early in the morning, and there are few people about in this 1919 work by William Nicholson of the Cenotaph in London. It is the original white-painted wood and plaster structure designed by Edward Lutyens, it stands out in stark relief against the Foreign Office.

In November hares come to wood edge. Most say this is for cover, for food. Yet more than one old countryman has told me they come to pay tribute to the wood itself, to have one last dance with the Moss Maidens before their cold sleeping. At twilight they feed and mutter omens. - #CLNolan

Here's a thought experiment: if you could become the richest person who ever lived, but the price would be that you have no friends, nobody to love, no sense of humour, no human feelings a- no, wait, sorry it's not a thought experiment, it's actually been done by Elon Musk.

For #FindsFriday the Bredfield Brooch, solid silver weighing 36g, found in 2009. The Anglo-Scandinavian Urnes style of decoration dates it to the second half of the 11th century. It's on display in the newly refurbished Norwich Castle. 📸 My own.

X is a cesspit led by an unhinged billionaire who is desperately trying to stir up civil war in Britain.

Nobody with any sense or decency should be there.

No organisations, government departments, or politicians should be there.

Everyone who is, is enabling this monster.
