When this stupid fucking president is out of office, I hope that a Democratic congress can strip his name off everything that he’s pissed on to make his own. And then start naming dumpsters and disasters after him. He’ll have a breakdown, assuming his withered old body is still working by then.

Oh boy, THE MUPPET SHOW special was perfect. They really captured the spirit of the original show, and it brought tears of joy to my eyes. Getting Sabrina Carpenter was a great idea. I hope people watch, and we get to see more of this. Go check it out!

Wow, the #KPopDemonHunters set of Cinnamon Toast Crunch sold out before the time it was meant to be on sale. Neat.

A one-time assistant to Jeffrey Epstein told the FBI effectively under penalty of perjury that the pedophile introduced Donald Trump to his wife Melania, a newly released document shows.
Epstein Assistant Told Feds He Introduced Melania to Trump, Files Reveal
The claim was made to agents and prosecutors before Epstein died—and it is a crime to lie to the feds.

I saw a blind grandma go into MELANIA. She came out with full sight and dragged a family watching ZOOTOPIA 2 into a new MELANIA screening.

Suddenly she said in an inhuman voice, “THE CHOICE IS MADE. THE TRAVELER HAS COME.” And Melania stomped out of the screen, 50 ft tall.

One of my favorite jokes of all time is "Adolph Hitler Commits Suicide" being a tiny headline under the banner story about a hare-vs-tortoise race ... in 1943, two years before Hitler committed suicide. He was alive and well when the Warner Bros. cartoonists made this joke.

EVERYBODY TO KENMURE STREET: Inspiring and energizing doc about Scotland protests against immigration enforcement trying to deport two Sikh men on May Day. The community suddenly rallied in the street to keep police from leaving with the detainees. A must-see film. #Sundance

ONE IN A MILLION: This moving doc follows an 11-year-old Syrian refugee girl (and her family) as they are forced to flee to Germany during the civil war in Aleppo, and it stays with her for 10 years as she blossoms into a young woman. Afflicting and powerful. #Sundance

CAROUSEL: Despite solid performances from Chris Pine and Jenny Slate, this mundane romance can’t find enough momentum or focus to keep interest. It’s refreshingly mature in its approach to adult relationships, but it just can’t find sure footing to land firmly. #Sundance

UNION COUNTY: Formulaic but understated drama about drug addiction. Will Poulter gives a reserved performance, and Noah Centineo also delivers a noteworthy supporting turn. This is a quiet drama without big showy dramatic bursts, which is probably why it still works. #Sundance

THE INCOMER: Pleasantly quirky mix of early Taika Waititi, Martin McDonagh, and a pinch of Wes Anderson, following an adult brother and sister living on an otherwise uninhabited Scottish island until a government official comes to evict them. Funny, charming, folksy. #Sundance

RUN AMOK: Bold and ambitious focus on a school still struggling with the fallout and trauma of a shooting, but it has trouble balancing quirky humor and tough drama. Alyssa Marvin gives a layered, admirable lead performance, but the movie doesn’t quite rise to meet her. #Sundance

I don't like to talk about stories before they are fully reported, but I am writing on ICE in a Minnesota town that isn't Minneapolis. However bad you think it is, it is worse. It is a campaign of pure terror whose only strategic goal is more terror. There is no strategy other than to break people.

JOSEPHINE is exactly the kind of movie you hope to discover at #Sundance. The harrowing, heartbreaking story of an 8-year-old girl who witnesses a heinous crime and is forced to reckon with the confusing questions and fear it raises. Mason Reeves is brilliant as the title child.

But not before the crowd bounces and chants, "I believe that we will win!"
