I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Leaving aside the other nonsense, this is a weird way to talk about book hangovers. It's normal to crash after finishing a creative work that touches you! It's normal to want more of a story you love! It's not normal to talk about sequels like they're Pokemon, you gotta catch em all!!

Bodily autonomy is the ultimate principle here and if we’re gonna make it stick we need to do away with the deep-seated notion that certain kinds of bodies are bad and undesirable to the point of being other people’s personal business and indeed a social problem
Fatphobia goes hand in hand with transphobia and is rampant even in otherwise progressive spaces because it makes people feel a sense of control to police their own and other people's bodies. It is social poison and we will never eliminate transphobia without eliminating anti-fatness.

This is at least the fourth story I've seen of an author having to exchange multiple emails (over 20) with this publisher to get the contract language to not be rights grabby and it's one of three where the writer walked away.
I appreciate the effort and transparency but I will also say-
