I cannot emphasize enough the importance of finding one constructive real world offline thing you can do to use your particular skills in service of fighting fascism as a psychological defense against the constant drumbeat of fuckery
my hot take is that I don't think it's this website specifically that's toxic. the Circumstances are toxic and nobody really knows what to do about it so they come online and scream. and if I may offer an alternative: actually going outside and screaming feels better.

i admit to being slightly annoyed that "chatbot psychosis" is becoming accepted terminology for something that isn't really psychosis in the sense that we've used it to describe an organic medical condition prior to this. i feel like we need different terms for cult/groupthink/chatgpt/etc delusions

Pleaseeeeee! I care far less about the tropes than how the characters are interacting with them. Just telling me "enemies to lovers" and a couple pepper emojis isn't all that helpful.
Thinking of how I can trick romance authors into promoting their books with a one sentences description of what actually happens again. We gotta ease off the trope only vibes. WHAT HAPPENS!
