This has always been what liberalism does. A thing is good so long as it passes through an institution, for the institution itself is good & all it does is justified. “The system works.” People say today “democracy is under threat from Trump”, when for many, liberal democracy has been the threat.

I think the idea that she should quit is the core reason why more labor changes have not happened.
The job market is not the answer for “fair workplace” issues. Leaving her post won’t solve the problem. It encourages the company to keep doing its unfair practices.

1) The job industry in LA sucks, I need the money. I have more than one job and need all of them to pay well to get by.
2) I’m not going to abandon my coworkers who are fighting beside me or make myself easily replaceable for them.
