Susie Wiles in November: Trump would need congressional approval for military action on the ground or other land-based operations in Venezuela. “If he were to authorize any activity on land, then it’s war, and we’d need Congress.”

Rubio is claiming that they did not need Congress permission because it was a law enforcement mission. The US is behaving as a global police state, extending its own arbitrary legal decisions to the whole world.

This is not a problem just for Venezuela.

We are seriously fucked.
Rubio: This is not the kind of mission you can do congressional notification on.

This is a dark day in American history

A functioning Congress will have articles of impeachment drafted by the end of the day.

Our Congress will just go to social media to basically say “We don’t like this, but what are you gonna do?”

In a Minneapolis suburb this week, masked men wearing ICE vests—who refused to present a warrant or identify themselves—roped off a construction site, trapping two workers on a partially built roof for hours in subzero temperatures.
