The anti-genocide and anti-ICE crowds were correct for years, but they were mocked, insulted and even blamed.
All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

It's 2026. If you still believe propagandist Thomas L Friedman, you need serious help.

Friedman is dim af. ICE trained with Israel. They exchanged tactics.
ICE = IDF.

The anti-genocide crowds were correct, but ignored.
Dr Assal Rad—

“If you’re rightfully horrified by what’s happening in the U.S., remember that this is daily life for Palestinians under Israeli occupation—funded by our tax dollars.

“The imperial boomerang is real. That’s why you can’t ignore what we do across the world as an issue “over there”.”

A mother of two children under 3.

Our home was destroyed by the occupation’s bombs. I have no income, and donations are slow.

My children urgently need milk, medicine, and basic necessities. Your support saves my daughters’ childhood and brings us hope.

If you want to know what people mean when they say Democrats are "controlled opposition," rather than whipping votes against ICE funding, Hakeem Jeffries struck a deal with Republicans to allow Democrats to feign outrage at ICE while still funding the spending package.

Denmark helped the US invade Iraq and now the US about to turned against them is peak irony.

The "international law" already broken *before* Greenland. It's already broken in the global south for decades.

Like the moment they kidnapped Maduro and the rest of the western world just shrugged their shoulders, any pretense of independence or "rule of law" flew right out the window.

Europeans getting mad now is hilarious.

US Presidents work for capitalist class to produce results (profit). Some of the pro-West/US-installed leaders down here basically act like the ruthless foreman, the overseers. The US have been like this for a long time. Trump is simply more vulgar.
To much of the Global South, Trump is acting like a typical US president.

To the Global North, he's a mad king, an aberrant, Hitler-like figure hellbent on global domination.

It's very telling and should be prompting everyone in the imperial core to reconsider their perspective and values.

ICE trained with Israel multiple times. ICE also received help from Palantir who helped IDF target Palestinian. Now, they help target Americans.
When anti-genocide crowd ask dems not to arm those k1llers, they were blamed and mocked.
Dems expanded ICE several times and handed them to Repubs.
ICE is seriously going to be Gaza all over again for Democrats isn’t it. They’re going to try it again, insisting if they just don’t talk about it then it’s not actually an issue that matters to millions of voters.
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.

The "ICE is using military tactics suited for a warzone, not for American streets" rhetoric kinda misses the point that warzones are not naturally occuring. The US military creates war zones from residential neighborhoods and the tactics are not more justifiable just because it's overseas
