The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

I encourage you to watch this video of Alex Pretti giving a final send off to a veteran he cared for at the #Minnesota VA Hospital. Be angry about the way he died, and moved to Action by way he lived.

Opinion | Five years after Jan. 6, we the people decide our future
In the immediate aftermath, Americans came together to defend democracy. But today, I'm not sure even a handful of my Republican colleagues would condemn the violence that occurred at the Capitol Jan....

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Donald Trump has brought his lawlessness to Minnesota, sending ICE agents here to divide and terrorize our communities.

But House DFLers will always stand with our neighbors.

We are Minnesotans. And Minnesotans have each other’s backs.

I am so furious right now.

AGs across the country fought to get SNAP benefits.

Federal workers suffered with weeks of no pay.

Millions of people showed up to protest Trump.

Democrats showed up in record numbers at the polls to say 'we've got your back!'

And you caved for literally nothing.

💯 this
It isn’t going to get the attention it deserves, given all the (rare) good news, but the voter ID amendment really sucks. WI makes it way too hard to vote already, and this is going to result in further disenfranchisement.

Even on the good nights, Republicans are chipping away at our democracy.
Really good night for Dems. Rs passed the WI voter ID amendment, but it didn't - as they hoped - transform turnout for Schimel.

Ds hold WI court, hold WI superintendent of public instruction, flip a number of mayoral offices in IL. Rs hold FL House seats but margin down by half since 2024.
