Proud to have been featured in this @wsj.com article on efforts

I shared my thoughts on state and local investments in cybersecurity in schools this week with KSTP. I will continue the work I began as chief author of the Student Data Privacy Act in 2022 to ensure that protection of student information is prioritized. #mnleg kstp.com/kstp-news/to...
Limited state funding for cybersecurity upgrades in Minnesota schools going quickly
School leaders say a dedicated funding source from the state would allow them to protect kids while preserving funding for classrooms.

Last evening’s Nine Inch Nails show was transcendent. Seeing “I’m Afraid of Americans,” which he performed with Bowie when they toured together, was very special.

Can't believe it's been nearly 20 years since I evacuated to Minnesota in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I shared a few thoughts to mark the occasion.
Rep. Sandra Feist: Twenty years after Hurricane Katrina, generosity is what I remember
"On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, I’ve been thinking about what I’ve learned in the years since I first left New Orleans with my law school books and a single change of clothing," state Rep. Sandra Feist writes.

Last week I participated in the Minnesota Legislative Exchange program through the Citizen's League. I spent the day with my Republican colleague, Rep. Bernie Perryman, in her district in St. Cloud. Programs like these are increasingly essential in our ability to function as a legislature. #mnleg

It was an absolute honor to work with the advocates for this legislation, as well as with colleagues on both sides of the aisle, to pass this important bill into law as of this month! Bipartisanship and teamwork FTW! #mnleg

I served as a reviewer for the 2025 YMCA National Judicial Competition. It was a joy to watch a group of talented high school students from across the country step into the roles of appellate justices and attorneys. Many thanks to the YMCA and the Capitol staff who make this competition possible!

While the administration cites public safety to justify its immigration crackdown, the Justice Department has quietly stopped funding programs that actually prevent crime. Our experts explain which initiatives were cut and how that affects communities.

Two days ago, Rep. Craig voted with Republicans to "express gratitude" to ICE for everything they are doing. Earlier this year she was the only MN Dem to vote for the Laken Riley Act, which is all about taking away due process. I think her votes say more about her priorities than these empty words.
This is shocking, shameful and beyond disrespectful. Trump's administration has no respect for our constitution, our system of checks and balances or the rule of law. Everyone should condemn this.

An article about the guardianship legislation that I and Sen. Scott Dibble worked together to pass this session. We collaborated with professional guardians, families, and individuals under guardianship in developing and amending the bill language to address several pressing issues. #mnleg
Guardians can keep vulnerable Minnesotans from their families. Changes to state law could make that harder to do.
Minnesota has 41,000 guardians overseeing vulnerable adults. There’s mixed reaction to changes the Legislature approved making it harder for guardians to keep people from their families.
