The “SAVE Act” that passed the US House on Thursday is a 🚨five alarm fire🚨 for representative democracy. It threatens the freedoms to vote of every eligible voter. You can read our shared statement on behalf of the #mnleg Inclusive Democracy Caucus here: www.house.mn.gov/members/prof...

On the #mnleg House floor as the GOP pass off bullying trans kids as “fairness”. Their strategy of division, exclusion & hate will fail on the House floor. We will protect trans kids. I’m proud to be on the right side of history & serving with two of the best people I know 🏳️‍⚧️

It was wonderful to spend some time with my @mnfarmersunion.bsky.social friends connecting on the work to level the playing field for family farmers and the Minnesota families they feed. It was my first time at their farmer-to-table Farmer’s Kitchen and Bar - but won’t be the last!

Grateful to spend the afternoon at Ujamma Place learning more about the impact of their culturally responsive, holistic model of couching, education, and personal-growth. I was inspired and moved hearing from the men who are working hard to transform their lives and communities.

First time visiting the local @bubblypaws on 48th and Chicago - Elliot came with to help give Barkley a bath and blow dry. So fresh and so clean, clean.

@mcpli.bsky.social Minnesota House GOP’s legislative coup is bizarre but no less brazen than the MAGA-emboldened GOP power grabs seen around the country. House Democrats are standing strong to protect the will of the voters from actions the MN Supreme Court ruled illegal & unconstitutional #mnleg

Full day of digging into policies to protect Minnesotans and public services from misclassification fraud, strategies for tax transparency and lowering property taxes & my junk fees ban. Best part was drinking coffee and snacking at great local spots @wildgrindcoffee.bsky.social & Sunstreet Breads

Thanks to the Neighborhood Development Center the tour and discussion about their work. Proud to partner with NDC to support their work to provide financing, technical assistance, and support for local Main Street entrepreneurs that make our communities stronger.

The future is bright! 8th graders are designing and engineering the cities on the ocean in the Future Cities competition. I love serving as a guest judge at Justice Page Middle School and getting to watch these brilliant students in action!

Proud to launch our 2025 @mnhouseDFL agenda this morning - an agenda for the people, not the powerful. House Democrats are fighting to unrig our economy and put our democracy back in the hands of Minnesotans. Watch my comments at today’s presser here: youtu.be/JtsYgPR7ELU?...

Another great stop today at the City of Minneapolis’ parking management and sign shop. We spoke with public works staff to discuss their jobs supporting the city, making our streets safer for pedestrians, bikers, and drivers alike.

A day of meetings about strengthening misclassification fraud laws, support for small businesses & shielding MN from Trump’s “punch down, redistribute up” agenda. Best part was a constituent chat with Jackie at Sun Street Breads to connect on getting the greed out of healthcare.

It was great meeting with Unidos MN today to discuss the work of protecting our neighbors from the threats of the incoming Trump administration. Only standing together can we support our communities and I’m glad to be in this work with Rep. @aishagomez.bsky.social and organizations like Unidos MN.

Minnesota lost a giant today. I’m lucky to be one of the generations of legislators blessed to learn under the wing, and wit, of the great Mary Murphy. Mary dedicated her life to serving Minnesotans and her impact on the state & State House will live on in big ways and small. I’m going to miss her💙
