- bringing back the handwashing public health signs of the 90s
- bringing back anti smoking PSAs
- bringing back PARKS and third places
- bringing back communal child care

Yep. We have to rebuild the politics of community everything at the source. The more than half century deterioration of the civic infrastructure is one of the roots of this mess and re/building is the only way toward a more stable/resilient/ flourishing democracy.

I can't take the national Democratic Party seriously because they keep playing footsie with Bernie Sanders. This guy is an op, he's not a Democrat and he needs to be shown the door. His fans were not voting for the Democrats anyway so what's the harm in showing him and his voters the door?
Perpetual gadfly Bernie Sanders can get invited on TV week in and week out to lecture Democrats about what they NEED TO BE doing while spending 30 years sabotaging Democrats every time they try to do it because its not the perfect solution he alone dreamed of.
Bernie Sanders: "We need to be thinking seriously about a moratorium on data centers. You gotta slow this process down. It's not good enough for the oligarchs to tell us 'you adapt.' Are they gonna guarantee healthcare to all people? What are they gonna do when there are no jobs? Make housing free?"
