Just a warning to all the people that started following me in the last few days because I said something somewhat witty or profound: It's not like that 24/7 over here, it just randomly happens. Don't expect constant eloquence. 😂😅

This is where the trillions in funding Trump and congressional Republicans stole from Medicaid and SNAP programs are going.

This is a major reason why I voted NO on Trump’s Big Ugly Bill!

But I was told that Dems throw trans people under the bus and I can’t even type these kids of things anymore without the rage of a million suns burning at the god awful fauxgressives and their refusal to admit the harm that they caused.

i just saw wuthering heights and it was so jarring and disjointed that people were walking out of the theater. we had a small seminar after with the random ass people who had just seen it with us. absolutely no one in that showing knew what the fuck they just watched
fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

Walked out of Last Jedi thinking 'so they pushed Finn and Poe to the sidelines so we could spend the runtime watching a fascist woobie try to neg a woman, with some bonus both-sidesing genocide, the right wingers will be thrilled'

The reaction was not what I expected, but mine hasn't changed.

I have never left the theater, but I wanted to with the last jedi. The first quip they made filled me with dread, and it did not get any better.

Lieu is too smart to stir up something like this with a lie. I totally believe him
Holy shit.

A lot of people have suggested this, but I don’t think Lieu would make the allegation unless he had seen some evidence.

When I left the theater after MAN OF STEEL, I walked across the street and bought a SUPERMAN (1978) Blu-ray. To wash the rancid taste out of my mouth.

Likewise, Baz Luhrman’s GATSBY and Jackson’s first HOBBIT made me reread the books.

The Last Jedi hands down. (I know Rise of Skywalker is an objectively worse movie, but by then the damage was done)

Batman v Superman annoyed me off because the trailers looked bad. And I still agreed to see it for a friend's birthday. Which wouldn't have been too bad, but I had also had let myself talked into seeing a midnight showing. So I had to watch that shit twice in a 24 hour span.

ALSO: It was during the lock down, so not in theaters, but Wonder Woman 84 also made me furious. The rape subtext, Wonder Woman being boring (HOW DO YOU MAKE WW BORING), the mortician's grade makeup on Pedro Pascal, just awful.

BvS annoyed me, but Man of Steel made me MAD. Especially the Super Long Johns. I told my friend that he wasn't allowed to pick our weekly movie for a very long while.

Girl, you had choices. 🤢

But also, this is typical pseudoscience bullshit from these morons.

"This man, on a genetic level, is a poison that my body responds to like an infection" sounds wild but in the case of Stephen Miller, is correct.

It should be shocking that a sitting congressman is saying this about a sitting president but that *president has successfully degraded the public discourse to the point where the media does a collective shrug. It’s deviant and sickening.
Ted Lieu: “Donald Trump is in the Epstein files thousands and thousands of times. In those files, there are highly disturbing allegations of Donald Trump raping children … of Donald Trump threatening to kill children. So I encourage the press to go look at these allegations.”

This is the kind of thing white supremacists have been doing to Emmett Till’s memorial for decades.

It’s wild to see them do this to a white woman who the entire world saw extrajudicially murdered.

Stephen published the interview to YouTube & called out his actively terrible bosses.

Nothing about that prevents him from transparently ALSO listening re the equal time rules he has now evaded & attempting to transparently book the other candidate for an interview he can ALSO publish onto YouTube.

Crockett is the more qualified candidate on merit & experience. They have different strategies for how to flip the state. I do hope she wins the primary. It’s a tough ask & I’ll believe the state will flip after it happens. But TX has a turnout problem, & I believe her strategy is the better one.

This primary has been ugly & the actions of James’ predominantly white, non-Black, & non-voting-in-TX supporters have been gross for months. Any talent he has gets dimmed by the people he keeps around him & his active hypocrisy. He’d have been better served running for a House seat in the new maps.

Not just Threads. I've seen it here and on TikTok, too.
It’s like how the campaign has white content creators attacking Black & Latina creators on Threads if they call out any of the misogynoir while the campaign keeps telling Black creators those people are just fans & not surrogates even though we know some have been in gray areas in other campaigns.

It’s more of the same underhanded bs he’s been doing like attacking Crockett over negative ads before she booked ads because 1 paragraph in 1 article said she might go negative while he bashes her fundraising as if Miriam Adelson & a pro charter schools PAC weren’t his top 2 in his last election.
