It’s been quiet here because… life. But this past week I have had the pleasure of intensively interacting with academic researchers from Nanjing University, Nanjing Tech University, and Fudan University in Shanghai, in both chemical biology and organic chemistry. Great research and discussions!

It’s journalism’s obesogenic environment problem.

Everyone knows you’re meant to eat your greens (speak to domain experts, double-check), but social media has created a sea of cheap and convenient (open an app), hyper-palatable (sensationalised, alarmist), nutrient-poor (dubious veracity) options.

Labour are also REALLY shit at comms.

Things like this are getting totally eclipsed by the flag nonsense and the phoney ECHR debate.
Sorry Otto, I'm slipping this in here as it is significant, but no one is talking about it?

A nice way to end #Pride month in Nottingham (UK): going on the LGBTQ+ history walk and listening to historic facts about queer past and the many (lost) venues with many other members of the community, old and new friends. Kudos to the organisers!
