It’s been quiet here because… life. But this past week I have had the pleasure of intensively interacting with academic researchers from Nanjing University, Nanjing Tech University, and Fudan University in Shanghai, in both chemical biology and organic chemistry. Great research and discussions!

A nice way to end #Pride month in Nottingham (UK): going on the LGBTQ+ history walk and listening to historic facts about queer past and the many (lost) venues with many other members of the community, old and new friends. Kudos to the organisers!

I’m catching up on some reading (Topolino): in these four panels from a story, Pippo (Goofy) offers Topolino (Mickey Mouse) Earl Grey tea and adds a little bit of salt “to let the aroma develop”. Pretty sure the writer Giulio D’Antona is familiar with @michellefrancl.bsky.social’s book on tea!
