I'm a fan of this line in particular:

The platinum electrode, a versatile protagonist, showcased its prowess in every experiment, contributing a lyrical stanza to the grand saga of electrochemistry.

Imagine sliding down one of the stands as if it were a helter skelter. If you are constantly turning to the right, it’s right handed and if you’re constantly turning to the left, well, no surprises, it’s left handed.

Hosted my first blind wine tasting - wines 1-6 were blind; 7 and 8 were Jura gems in the interlude and 9 (Vin de Constance) was a surprise addition bought by a friend!

Why should scientists write op-eds? It's tempting to say the facts ought to speak for themselves. But the facts are largely whispering among themselves in the scientific literature. They need us to give them a voice. How? Advice in my latest @natchem.nature.com Thesis rdcu.be/eJlGL #chemsky 1/3

Well, I survived #Whamageddon in 2025 (first time ever), but the universe was pissed and so decided to give me flu, which kicked in to high gear just after the King's Speech on Xmas Day. So that was fun. Feeling slightly more human now, so might actually get dressed tomorrow.

More than 36 years later, the #ContaminatedBlood fight goes on. One day I hope I won't have to post the same fucking thing on Dec 1st.
It's #WorldAIDSDay. My Dad was a haemophiliac and was infected with HIV & Hep C by the British state early in the '80s. I watched him die from AIDS when I was just 15. I remember him every day, but today maybe more than some others. More than 35 years later, the #ContaminatedBlood fight goes on.
