I remember when kids and grandmothers were forced to pay tens of thousands of dollars for downloading a single song and now we're being asked to accept (while internet providers still block individuals who download stuff) that AI companies get ALL THE THINGS for free or they'd have a sad.

This is a nice time of year for the Butler University prairie. Lots of flowers and lots of bees. Our grasses and some of our forbs are now 5 to 7 feet tall; compass plant and cup plant are 10 feet tall! (Indianapolis, IN, USA)

Hooo boy- this is incredibly concerning. It appears the Central Indiana Land Trust donated this sensitive wetland along Bell’s Creek at 42nd and Mitthoefer to Phalen (a charter school), who is now planning to build their football stadium on top of it.
