Maybe it’s premature, but let me be the first to congratulate Hegseth for NOT leaking attack plans prior to the attack last night. GOOD JOB! PROGRESS! #Venezuela

The cover up is happening in plain sight.

Where are those QAnon folks these days? We now actually have a government that is led by a sex trafficker’s pal, and trying to help convicted sex traffickers.

Firing the BLS Commissioner — the wonk in charge of the statisticians who track economic reality — is an authoritarian four alarm fire.

It will also backfire: You can't bend economic reality, but you can break the trust of markets. And biased data yields worse policy.

The Trump admin said it would go after violent immigrants but they are giving this guy:
*an early release from prison
*a promise not to be deported for at least a year
*a work permit
The Trump admin has freed Jose Hernandez Reyes because he can testify against Abrego Garcia.

Hernandez, who has been deported 5 times, has also been arrested for:

—DUI w/ a handgun;
—cocaine possession;
—illegally transporting migrants; and
—drunkenly firing a gun.

Star witness against Kilmar Abrego García was due to be deported. Now he’s being freed.

The LAPD says there was no violence and they had things under control. The National Guard never even made it to their armories no matter clearing the streets. He’s declared victory and thinks he can dictate masks are illegal. This is a 2:41 AM lunatic post.

take less vacation,
work longer days,
& retire later.

But hey, at least we're not stuck with socialized health care.

Trump can call me names but the truth remains. He is an unhinged wanna be dictator who is angry that I beat him in court and won't cower in fear. Now he is weaponizing the federal government against his political opponents.

I will not back down.
I will not bow or scrape.
I will never obey.

Purging dissent in the security services and giving loyalists power is something we *instantly* recognize in other contexts.
EXCLUSIVE: Candidates for national security roles in the new administration have been posed loyalty questions, such as: Was Jan. 6 an inside job, and Was the 2020 presidential election stolen? They were asked to give straight "yes" or "no" answers. Here's our story.

I hope this isn't true! Birthright citizenship is fantastic. It's an engine for assimilation and has kept the US from having a permanent migrant underclass (like some European countries have). It ensures that all who are born here can participate fully, and better brings us together as a society.
I'm worried that the left/libertarian side has rested on "precedent" and is now completely unable to make a compelling argument FOR birthright citizenship. Like it will literally just sound like they're defending a loophole since they've already ceded 99% of the issue to restrictionists
