By using s33 pre-emptively, the UCP is not simply admitting that their laws are breaching Charter rights. (Governments have done that before.)

By foregoing judicial review, they are further admitting that their laws cannot be justified in a democratic society.

WOW!!

Smith threw her staff under the bus hard today!

In defense of her continuation of the "Alberta is calling" campaign, she claimed that she learned about the federal immigration policies & impacts not from briefings...

But from a tweet.

A historic turning point for clean heating in Europe: For the first time, in the first half of 2025 sales of heat pumps in Germany have surpassed those of gas boilers.

This is a big milestone, demonstrating that the transition away from fossil fuels in our buildings is not just a future ambition.

10 years ago, I was pro-oil/gas. Since then, I've interviewed 100s of scientists, industry insiders, etc.

My conclusion? The AB oil/gas industry lies.

ABGov + politicians, the regulator, trade associations - lying like a sidewalk.

Stop lying, I'll be more supportive.
