The fights are fun and colourful, the Crazy 88 fight is a genuinely phenomenal sequence, and Uma Thurman shines; but I came away from Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair with a palpable feeling of it just being fine and honestly might by the lowest I would rank of Tarantino's work.

So that moment when the duvet is pulled away at the end of Raw (2016) got me good. A genuine gasp escaped my lungs.

I have wanted to watch Mad God for a good while. Now that I have watched it I can resolutely say that was brilliant. The craft of it alone is admirable with how much time Phil Tippett has given to it.

The Mockingbird is a delightful little cinema and a great setting to watch Wake Up Dead Man.
It's once again an excellent outing and Josh O'Connor gives the best performance of anyone from the current Knives Out movies.
