Excited to see a new teaser from Cockpit Casual / @stevenomadic.bsky.social on YouTube this morning. New episodes coming soon. #BitOfJoy

You’re not winning with changes in mask rules.
You’re not winning with body cams.
You’re not winning with enhanced training.
Every democrat will be hounded to the ends of the earth if there is support for ICE / DHS in any way.

Voting to fund DHS is voting to fund murder.

We will not forget.
ICE investigators were supposed to investigate the killing of Alex Pretti.

Instead, they investigated Alex. Not his killers.

With FBI now leading this probe, I’m calling on Kristi Noem and Kash Patel:

Remove all ICE agents from this investigation completely.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that #PinkFloyd's "The Wall" was a regular student selection during our weekend stage crew work, back in high school. #LesMiserables was similarly an every-week faculty selection, and it became something I loved, and still do.

Dear ICE/DHS/CBP you have no idea what level of compassion and love for our neighbors you have opened up in Minnesota!

3,000+ cyclists in 20° weather biked seven miles for a man we loved, a city we love, and ALL of our neighbors that we love.

Whose Streets?
Our Streets!

The bike wackos came out today, 3-5k of them in Minneapolis. It was warmer than it has been for a long time, about 17 degrees!

Some photos from the Chicago memorial ride for Alex Pretti, where lots of folks came out in solidarity with similar rides across the country.

Organized by @babski.bsky.social and @bikegridnow.org, with remarks from Kyle Lucas from @betterstreetschicago.org

Took a ride with a large group of folks to honor and remember Alex Pretti and all the others killed by ICE. Thanks to @babski.bsky.social for organizing the #BikeChi event, and @bikegridnow.org for supporting and marshaling!

Today at 1:15! The roads are a mess but we're still riding. We'll be rolling extra cautiously and will have marshals to help us get through intersections

- John Walsh Park (E end of The 606)

Winter cyclists … is this a terrible fender to have for riding in the snow? Is there too much risk of clogging and freezing with this? Would I be better served removing it? Or will this be okay for city street riding, basically for one ride?

There can be some gatekeeping in the cycling community so just remember that when it comes to biking there are only two rules: Wear what you want. Ride what you want and don't let anyone tell you differently

Bovino’s not enough.

@duckworth.senate.gov you and your colleagues cannot view this as enough.

Cameras and “more training” are NOT acceptable. Removing Bovino is not enough.

Voting to find DHS is voting to fund murder.
Don’t tell us; we know that.

Tell your colleagues.

Hmm, firing McDermott and then just elevating Brady feels a lot like if they fired Bovino and just replaced him with Homan; that’s not a good enough change!

Oh, wait, that’s exactly what those guys did too.

Not a good couple days for enacting actual change within an organization.

Feed cleanser - oldest aviation image on my phone.

2014 Chicago Air and Water show. I live near the northern turnaround for the faster jets, and used to be able to get on my building’s roof to watch.

This little project is supposed to be my way of finding joy in the world, and spreading that joy to my tens of followers.

There is no joy after this weekend, and these past few weeks. What's happening in Minneapolis and around the country; there is no joy.

Hopefully next week.

the entire difference between kyle rittenhouse and alex pretti is that kyle rittenhouse was there to shoot people the cops wanted to shoot and alex pretti was there to protect people the cops wanted to shoot

I would appreciate it if @duckworth.senate.gov would remind her IL colleague that he’s not running again, and doesn’t need to court the center.

Due to a work call I had, my wife and I ate separately tonight. When she saw that I cooked up some salmon, she needed to leave the room, because I apparently chew salmon too loudly.

Tell me your wife is perimenopausal without telling me your wife is perimenopausal.

it’s so funny when the media is like “why are libs cutting Trump voters out of their lives? clearly it’s the intolerant left!” when in reality we are just fed up by the dumbest most evil people we know speedrunning the destruction of our country in slavish devotion to the cult of a mad king

Looking at the Bills’ roster vs the Giants’ roster; think Harbaugh’s wishing he had waited a few extra days?

Or maybe he’s excited for the challenge of building something, which I totally respect.
