“Did you read the email “
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

“Who decided this and why am I just now hearing about it?”

“Wow, that IS fucked up!” 😂

new project idea: I get the good people of Judson Church to adopt Metro Transit stops that are in front of or near other churches. Good publicity for Judson + linking faith and public transit & maybe...shaming other churches into advocating for public transit

Living in Minnesota right now means getting your heart broken every day, multiple times a day. Some days it also means having your faith in humanity restored. Please keep watching Minnesota, if you live elsewhere. Things are still dire.

Trump makes King Ahab look like a saint,

“But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord”

Verbatim line I heard at work today (preschool teacher to preschooler)

“And that’s why we wash our hands after we poop!”

Who said pastoral ministry is boring?

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.
“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
Pursued by federal agents, suburban ICE observers remain resolved
After a frightening pursuit by federal agents, suburban ICE observers say fear hasn’t stopped them from protecting their communities.

any grammar updates from caucus goers?

one time we spent 45 minutes debating whether a comma or semicolon was appropriate in our resolution.

does the nation care about MN? well there was nothing but coast to coast love in the mail today at Judson Church from people and congregations offering prayers, encouragement and compassion

so true. AND think about when we get the birders involved. Imagine those high powered binoculars telling us both the location of indigo buntings and ICE whereabouts!
Honestly the longer ICE stays here the more advantage we gain. They have to be gone by spring. If the bike whackos get a shot at patrol it’s OVER.

a woman reached out to donate 500,000 delta skymiles to get people home to MN as they are released from custody in TX.

we're getting flights booked today. it should be enough to get at least 15 people home.

delta should be doing for free since they take ICE money.

A bike ride around the twin cities that ends at Cities Church, then everyone bikes around the church seven times, everyone rings their bells and then hopefully the building collapses.
When ICE murders you, how would you like the community to honor you? Vigil? Bike ride? Sit in? Something else?

Dear ICE/DHS/CBP you have no idea what level of compassion and love for our neighbors you have opened up in Minnesota!

3,000+ cyclists in 20° weather biked seven miles for a man we loved, a city we love, and ALL of our neighbors that we love.

Anyone have the web page address (I’ve heard it was created with frontpage) where you contribute to the Homan database? I’ve got a church directory of tender-hearted justice loving people that want to be included!

binders full of saints/neighbors/helpers - and they're gonna make them free and available to the public.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

Clergy are qualified nominators too
Some thoughts:

1. The deadline for nominating a person or group for the Nobel Peace Prize is Feb. 1.

2. History professors are qualified nominators.

3. The people of Minnesota have been awe-inspiringly peaceful in the face of state violence.

4. He would be so mad.

“We're asking folks to host rides and come together. Bike shops and non-profits, cycling orgs and alt cycling collectives, city and rural. We are many but we stand together as one.”
